The Toolkit

We find it helpful to break down the challenges around local Electric Vehicle planning into three elements - Demand, Supply, and Performance. We have a module on each of these. You can work through them in order, or feel free to jump straight to a particular section if that is most interesting to you.

We have also prepared a Primer to help people get up to speed on what can be quite a complex area. If you are new to thinking about the transition then we would recommend reading through the Primer before working through the three core modules.

There is a final section we have called the Exercise that aims to bring together everything we have learnt as we worked through the toolkit by putting together the bones of a draft local plan.
